Nicki Minaj Says: "Happy to Have a Drug and Alcohol Free Tour with Britney Spears"

Nicki Minaj is opening for Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale world tour, and Minaj is happy the experience will be completely substance-free "as it should be," she tells Life & Style.
"I think it's a great thing. If that's the way Britney wants it, so be it. She's the queen of her castle. It trickles down and makes everyone responsible."
Minaj says touring with Britney will be life changing.

Torontonians Go GaGa at MMVA

What better way to kick off the first day of summer in Toronto than with the 2011 MMVAs ? This year, the duties of hosting the event was passed down by last year’s host Miley Cyrus to the magical Wizard of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez.
The show got off to a very high energy start with a performance by the eccentric Lady Gaga. The crowd could not get enough of her theatrical performance followed by Hip-Hop group Far East Movement picking up the energy with their smash, “Like a G6”.

Gaga went home with two awards, one for International Video of the Year for her controversial video ‘
Judas’, and the other for UR Fav International Artist. Justin Beiber was another big winner of the night, also taking home two awards. Beiber played it coy when receiving an award from rumoured girlfriend, Selena Gomez, saying, "Selena? Nice to meet you, I'm Justin. You're very beautiful. Maybe we could go out sometime?”

Similar to last year’s MMVAs the show ended with a performance by Lady Gaga, minus the exploding bra! Either way there is no doubting that Toronto could not get enough Gaga.

Alicia Keys is coming to Toronto! ! !

Alicia Keys is one celebrity that I miss seeing a lot of. Rumour has it that ever since she openly stated that "Gangsta Rap" was invented to have black people murk each other her career too a nose dive. OR was it because she got married and more focused on her hubby Swiss Beatz? Either way I'm looking forward to seeing her on stage again at the "Hope Rising" concert in Toronto on May 5th. She is set to perform with Kanaan, Ngozi Paul, D'bi Young and a few other friends. This concert was put together in support of the fight against HIV in Africa. I like that Alicia is always bringing awareness and actions to social issues and I know she hasn't reached her peak yet! Goooo Alicia!
