For the first time ever, Cirque du Soleil’s top executives have given the public the green light for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the spectacular shows. Until now, it has always been a privileged treat and a prized invitation accorded only to other performers and showbiz stars.
For one week, today through Sunday, the doors to backstage are being thrown open to all seven Cirque shows on the Las Vegas Strip. Mindfreakmagician Criss Angel will play host at his showBelieve at the Luxor, and the cast and crew of the sexy Zumanity at New York-New York will take part in a Q&A with fans.
The packages can be purchased in as little as a group of two shows for $160 to all seven priced at$450. The offer includes watching a dress rehearsal, seeing the show and then going backstage.
The up close and personal experience allows access to the daring acrobatics and rehearsal workout gyms, stunning costume departments, plus high-flying action, beautiful choreography and music rehearsals.
There’s no word about visitors going underwater atO, but they will get to see all the intricate preparations and safety procedures in place for the swimmers and high-diving athletes. At The Beatles’Love at The Mirage, fans can check out the amazing pull-apart Beatles car, and at Ka at MGM Grand, attendees can romp in the sand after the battle on the revolving toppling wall.
